MUSIC GOAT TALENT SEARCH PROGRAMME / STAGES - 2nd EPISODE

Music Goat Talent Search focus is to give contestants who will participate in their talent search show marketing skills, exposure to the music industry through live music concert in SA, Africa, and USA. Music Goat Talent Search have forged a partnership with a USA company NCMG Africa Distribution that is affiliated to The Orchids Sony, this partnership is important as it will help MGTS to publishing South Africa artists in all music industry publications in USA and the globe, the partnership will see MCMG Distribution market our artists around the globe and handle our artist distribution in all international platforms this includes global radio and tv stations. NCMG Africa Distribution will help MGTS to organise music concerts around the globe where our artists will share the big stages with USA and Globe artists, this will result in our artists doing collaborations or features with international artists. This is one of the reasons Music Goat Talent Search Pty Ltd is searching for the talent in SA and Africa and willing to sign artists who fits their scope.

SECOND EPISODE CALANDER 2024

STAGE 1 – Date 20 Feb – 23 Feb 2024
(a)Contestants will have to subscribe to our company YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/@MusicGoatTalent  because this is the official channel of running our Music Talent Show.
(b)Contestants send a 3- 5 minutes video signing one of their songs, the video can be an original video or video taken using a normal smart phone with music playing in the background. The company will upload the videos on YouTube and Facebook to give viewers the opportunity to judge.

STAGE 2 -Date 24 Feb –28 Feb 2024
(a) Contestants to campaign and make sure friends and families visit our YouTube channel to give them support, their followers must subscribe and mention that they are subscribing because they are supporting a contestant and what do they think about the contestant work. TOP150 contestants with a lot of votes and subscribers following will be taken to the next stage.
(b)Contestants will submit 3 - 5 minutes Acapella song (Only vocals NO instruments in the background), this will help company to understand artists vocals (voice) so it will be easy for songwriters, collaborators, and producers to understand your voice. The acapella videos will be uploaded in our YouTube channel.

STAGE 3 – Date 1 March – 8 March 2024

VOTING STAGE START MINIMUM OF 500 VOTES NEEDED TO MOVE TO THE NEXT STAGE.
Voting Stage takes place soon after uploading of acapella videos, to increase your chances to be voted by subscribers that you do not even know artist can send his or her video to be uploaded in our channel, the music video must be the artist original song and must be registered with SA regulatory bodies like SIMRO to avoid people stealing the contestant's work. In this voting stage contestant needs a minimum of 500 Votes to move to the next stage. Votes are done through band system in this stage and 1 Vote = R1, votes can transfer EFT or Deposit using contestant registered username or stage name as reference.
STAGE 4 – Date10 March – 15 March 2024
Contestants will now decide to sign artist contract with the company and the contracts will be explained to all contestants. This stage is important as it is a preparation stage for recording and sharing of intellectual property between MGTS and Artists hence the need of contractual agreements so that no misuse of company or artists beats, lyrics, songs will be misused. Competition continues and artists who get eliminated from this stage will only be removed from benefits of winning the competition, but they remain company artists and will continue recording, performing, and working with the company.

STAGE 5 –Date 16 March – 20 March 2024

Music composing team made of producers and music writers will send 3 beats of all music genres to the group and contestants will pick a beat and compose a song and send it back to the composing team for analysis. Best songs from each music genre produced by contestants will be recorded and distributed. This means a total of 18 best songs will be selected and recorded in the stage. 50 contestants will be eliminated from this stage.

STAGE 6 -Date 21 March – 25 March 2024

Music composing team made from producers and writers will provide 3 songs (beats, lyrics, melody) of all music genres to the group and contestants choose a song and sign it, our main focus is to find a best vocal for songs produced inhouse by our song writers and producers. In this stage music composing team will submit 18 songs to the contestants in this stage. After contestants putting vocals and bringing music to life, they will submit their work back and the composing team will choose best 18 songs and contestants will be sent for recording. Team will run elimination procedure in this round and 50 Artists will remain.

STAGE 7 -Date 26 – 1 April 2024

Second round of YouTube marketing voting, in this stage contestants/ artists must share their music links from MGT YouTube Channel to friends and members of their family to vote and subscribe for them. Task contestants need 20 people subscribing for her and 20 message from his /her supporters or followers. 10 contestants to be eliminated in this round /stage.

STAGE 8 -Date 2 April – 7 April 2024

 SMS VOTING LINES OPEN

Music Composing team to submit 2 beats of all music genres and artists to compose songs and best 12 songs to be recorded. Top25 artists sign an artist contract that comes with an VIP marketing and Recording deal, 2 Singles and 2 Videos. Elimination to be conducted and we will be left with 25 contestants in the competition. SMS Voting lines open.

STAGE 9 -Date 10 April – 4 May 2024

All contestants by now should be earning from the music they have recorded since the start of the competition, and they are ready to take on the international music concert stages. Musicians who are not working will go and stay in Music GOAT House in Durban or Johannesburg. They will go through several music workshops and training, they will be recorded in all their work and activities during their stay and these activities will be uploaded in our YouTube channel this is a very important marketing and publication stage, music lovers will have to know artists better and they will know their road to celebrity lifestyle. YouTube voting will be ON and bottom 5 contestants to be eliminated from the house this week.

STAGE 10

20 contestants in the Music Goat houses composing team will submit 5 songs, and contestants asked to perform to the best of their possibilities and best 5 to be recorded, musicians who will produce 5 worst songs to be eliminated and we will be left with 15 contestants for the next round.

STAGE 11

15 contestants left and online voting continue this week all company social media channels open and every Saturday we will eliminate 2 contestants until we are left with 2 contestants and a winner will be crowned below are the prizes of the ultimate winners.

Music GOAT Talent Search (Pty) Limited and Music GOAT Talent Show reserves the right to change the voting rules at any time, and may suspend, withdraw or re-set voting at its sole discretion.

Music GOAT Talent Search  (Pty) Limited reserves the right to disqualify votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers that there has been any attempt to manipulate the voting fraudulently. Viewers will be limited to 1000 votes per voting platform (SMS, Website and Mobile Site) per voting period. Votes in excess of 1000 on SMS will be charged for but will not be counted and will not be eligible to win any of the prizes.

After the lines have closed, the result of the vote will be established from all valid votes received. LATE VOTES, OR VOTES NOT RECEIVED BY THE TIME THE RESULT IS CALCULATED, WILL NOT BE COUNTED BUT WILL BE CHARGED BY YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER WHERE APPLICABLE.

In the event that the vote outcome cannot be reasonably determined (due to a technical failure or other circumstance beyond MGTS Record’s reasonable control and the data is irrecoverable), then MGTS Records reserves the right to use its discretion to make any decision that is necessary under the circumstances to ensure fairness to all affected parties or postpone the result show or exclude the results from the system that failed, unless the data can be recovered.

Music G.O.A.T Season 1

Interactive audience voting has been set-up on behalf of Music G.O.A.T music talent search show, a division of MGTS Records (Pty) Ltd to enable Music G.O.A.T viewers to vote for their favourite contestant that they want to win the competition. The voting has been set up to encourage viewer participation in the show and give them a say in the outcome of the series. Voter participation is important as it exposes the contestants to the market.

You may vote by SMS services only. For SMS you will vote by texting a vote for your favourite contestant according to the instructions specified in the G.O.A.T programme and the text costs of your service provider will apply.

All unrecognised SMSs (SMSs where the text does not match the advertised voting text or cannot be allocated to a specific contestant) will be charged for but not counted and the subscriber who sent the SMS will not be eligible to win any of the prizes.

Each SMS vote costs R1.50; free SMS bundles do not apply.
All voting information will be clearly communicated in the programme. All personal information provided to us at the time of registration will be kept secure and confidential and will not be used for marketing purposes without your prior consent.
